Alan is a qualified casting instructor and guide can offer fishing for Wild Brown Trout, Salmon and Dollaghan. Fly fishing from March to October. Fishing for Dollaghan and Salmon on the Rivers Maine (Shane’s Castle) and Six Mile Water.

Alan runs The Lough Neagh Angling Association’s its primary objective is to promote fishing on Lough Neagh and Lough Beg and develop the potential for tourism through fishing tours.
The Association was established with support and assistance from Antrim Borough Council and Antrim Borough Strategy Partnership. The Association uses a modern, specially equipped Orkney Pilot House boat for its tours. Fly-fishing is also available from 19” open Lough boats. The expert crew can advise anglers on tackle and equipment techniques. Water safety is of utmost importance and all fishermen will be accompanied by a qualified guide.
